Eight specialties, one workshop on boul. Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Cutting, mounting, and assembly on site — nothing is outsourced.

Assembly of a custom walnut frame
01 — The heart of the trade

Custom framing

No standard dimensions are forced on you. You bring the piece, we build the frame around it.

Over 400 moulding profiles are on display: solid woods, anodized metals, gold leaf, and patinated ornamental profiles. We mitre cut, join under pressure, and adjust to the sixteenth of an inch.

  • ✓ Sizes from 4 × 6 in. to 60 × 96 in.
  • ✓ Reinforced mitre joints, never just glued
  • ✓ Written estimate valid for 30 days

02 — Conservation

Artwork and documents

An original watercolour, a numbered lithograph, an old letter: these pieces require reversible mounting.

We use acid-free cotton boards, starched Japanese hinges, and glass filtering 99% of UV rays. Nothing is permanently glued: the artwork can be removed intact in twenty years.

For particularly fragile pieces, floating between two pieces of glass reveals the hand-torn edges, highly sought after by collectors.

03 — Pride

Diplomas, photos, and posters

The perfectly matched photo wall, the diploma that cost four years of sleepless nights, the signed tour poster.

For diplomas, the double mat with a coloured fillet matches the school's colours, and an engraved brass plate can be placed under the opening. For photo walls, we prepare entire series with identical margins for flawless alignment.

Only have the digital file? We also do high-definition printing of your photos and artwork, ready to frame.

04 — Our specialty

Sports jerseys and memorabilia

A winning season's jersey deserves better than a hanger in the back of a closet.

We mount garments in deep shadow boxes, without pins or glue: the fabric is held by invisible stitches on a linen backing in the colour of your choice. The jersey remains removable and suffers no damage.

Same approach for medals, sticks, signed pucks, trading cards, ballet slippers, or christening gowns.

Canvases and canvas stretching

Canvases stretched in the workshop, custom stretcher bars, and floater frames to finish an artwork with elegance.

We mount your rolled canvases on new stretcher bars, restretch canvases loosened by time, and build stretcher bars up to 72 inches with cross braces. The floater frame, which leaves a shadow gap around the canvas, remains our most requested finish.
