The meeting
You bring the piece, or a photo if it's bulky. We look at the size, the condition of the paper, and where it will be hung together.

The workshop
A craft of patience, of precision and listening.
At CadreXpert, every project starts with a conversation. A grandmother's inherited watercolour, the first jersey of a winning season, a hard-earned diploma: these items aren't treated the same way.
We cut our mouldings, mats, and glass on-site, by hand, using conservation materials when the piece deserves it. You see the samples, you feel the boards, you leave with a clear price.
What we do

Expect 15 business days for standard framing. Complex pieces—shadow boxes, very large sizes, special-order mouldings—may take more time. A 3-business-day express service is also available.
Yes, it's one of our specialties. We mount jerseys in deep shadow boxes, without pins or glue, on a fabric backing of your choice. The garment remains removable and intact. We also frame medals, sticks, cards, records, and collectibles.
It's a fully reversible assembly, acid-free and without permanent adhesive: cotton boards, Japanese hinges, UV-filtering glass. The artwork can be removed from the frame in twenty years without a single trace. We recommend it for any original or irreplaceable piece.
Yes. We cut clear glass, non-glare glass, and acrylic to the requested size, with polished edges upon request. Bring your exact measurements or your frame, and often leave the same day for standard sizes.
